CAFÉ IN LEAMINGTON SPA

An independent coffee house in Leamington Spa

Forrest started life on The Square in Kenilworth and quickly became one of Warwickshire's best-loved independent coffee houses. Now it has a second home on the ground floor of 1 Mill Street in Leamington Spa, a couple of minutes from Jephson Gardens.

The coffee is Forrest's own house blend, made with Craft House Coffee and pulled properly. Cakes are baked from scratch every day, and the brunch menu changes with the seasons, from a quick pastry to a long, lazy plate.

You don't need to be a member to come in. Bring the laptop, bring the kids, bring the dog. Forrest is open to everyone, and it's a good first step into the Mill Street community.

Members get 20% off and can have coffee sent up to their meeting room. Everyone else gets the same warm welcome, and probably a chat with someone interesting in the queue.

THE FORREST STORY

Named after a camper van. Seriously.

Molly always dreamed of opening her own café. She and Alex had a different plan first: quit their jobs, convert a transit van into a camper called Forrest, and travel Europe. They were all packed to go when 1 The Square in Kenilworth came up for sale.

It was old, leaky and corporate, but it had something. So the van was sold and Forrest the café was born. Six years on, it has made it through a pandemic, welcomed three babies, and hosted countless afternoon teas, Christmas markets, yoga mornings, mum and baby meet-ups and supper clubs.

Now the family (Ned, Billy, Lennie and Popcorn the dog included) has brought it all to Mill Street.
